Tacit times

Looking Beyond the unknown,

In the vast expanse of life,

I stare into nothingness,

Into the silent flowing waters.

A patch of darkness spread across the blue sheet above,

Tells me there's a streak of light wanting to steal a look and uncover!

Still Waiting

We often sit and wait,
For our fate to change,
Hoping for a smooth sail all along,
How tempting would that sound!
But unable to gauge,
Life's subtle message,
We still sit and wait.......

A small door once opened,
Now seems like a distant cry,
I wish I had given one more try.
Following the path traveled by many,
I often feel the decision was rather uncanny.

Wondering what life has in store for us,
We often sit and wait......

P.S. I Love you

A few days back I saw a movie called ' P.S. I love you' with my old school friend in a theater. I had been wanting to watch this film and finally i could after my dear friend with lot of difficulty and brilliant management of events(actually the movie was an excuse to escape from her in-laws!) accompanied me. Needless to say the movie was really good coz a bad one doesnt deserve so much of importance!!!

I loved the 'picture'!

What does a movie really do to make it likeable; in this case 'lovable'?

There is either some sort of connection one tries to establish with the characters or just imagine how one would behave or react if he/she would be one of the "characters". So obviously I imagined.... What if I were Holly ( the miserable widow) ??

I would have shed gallons of tears over the loss of the love of my life, being an Indian! Indian? Yes we are a highly emotional bunch of people who can get poignant over absolutely anything and everything. So what struck me most was are Americans always so undemonstrative of their feelings? Do they ever express themselves by shedding a few drops here and there???

The most intense scenes were enacted exceptionally well but without a tear! Or lets just say I am obsessed with weeping!?!?! ( the tissue papers I found by chance were all used)

But it was only due to the 'non-crying' performance in most parts of the film, that made it even more intense and painful.

The photography was extra ordinary. Now I know from where does the Irish coffee gets its taste from. This movie captured the beautiful IRELAND. I am in love with it.
In the end I felt it was a good investment of time and money with my friend; both of us exiting the theater in silence only to let the reel of our imagination and vision come to a halt. My final verdict for the movie is "memorable" which is important for me to last till the next one comes along!

Passion

Is it what we see inside of us,
we call passion?

Or the undying persistence we admire in others......

Passion is infectious,
Only to last as long as the contagious cold.

I am what I am,
A bird in its nest,
Wandering and searching for the twigs to build in,

A Life , A Passion,

That lasts till it taints someone forever!
